failed to lead or spur the proletariat to successful revolution. Hence, Trotskyism has become the
phony Marxism of the Christian-minded--people who see justice as a purely verbal or mental state. Trotskyists
are happy to judge Stalin and his ideological descendants by purely mental constructs that they do not
