Riding the Meridian (except in exceptional circumstances) only publishes previously unpublished works. We request attribution to Riding the Meridian, including a listing of our url, when/if the work is subsequently republished, and ask that writers refrain from submitting their work to websites elsewhere until the issue in which their work appears enters archives. In return, we promise to actively seek to promote the work of the writers we publish by nominating them for awards within an editor's purview. All other rights revert to the author upon publication.
