Christine,
You should thoroughly read the text that you quoted (below) in
your letter to the vworlds-list mailing list.

It describes a method for unsubscribing, which is:

write to listserv@netcom.com and put the following single line
in the body, not the subject, of your e-mail.

unsubscribe vworlds-list

If you've done that, and you still are subscribed to the list, then
send mail to vworld-list-owner@netcom.com and tell the list owner that you'd
like to be unsubscribed.
