It looks like either you or me made a typo or a Freudian slip, in the
line that goes "you might look at it as piles of hand-sized houses
heaped up in great big mounds, or strung up on enormous _hands_ of
human hair." That was meant to be _strands_ of human hair. But hey,
let's all bow to that great big Dada god in the sky and let it strand,
er, stand as is.
