One thing that Europeans *always* complain about in regards to American TV
is all the damned commercials- what is it about these other countries that
are just as 'advanced' and 'industrailized' as US but don't do commercial TV
like US? Is it governement sponsorship? Higher broadcast fees? Licenses?
Culture? Greater participation in society in general? Perhaps a sensitivity
on the part of the content providers to not allow anything to disrupt the
enjoyment of the content?

It is this general attitude that I think is worth exploring in regards to
commercialism in VR- how do you incorporate it without destroying the
medium? is this a good example to follow?
