That's what happens when a bunch of academics and workstation users try
to define a spec that is "cross-platform" when they don't really
understand how 90% of the people access the net. I haven't gotten the
skinny on the cabal in Monterrey, maybe they've made some smart changes.
I think that for the time being VRML is a good way for us to show some of
our spaces and make them available for critiques. I'll be creating my
"real" VRML space as soon as I can get my softImage to VRML parser working.
