Yeah , well it has been a bit quiet on the list, but we really are still
out here in the ether listening. The notion of creating new projects in a
new media on a constantly evolving technical platform is an intersting
issue. After doing some research on VR and Simulators, and having used a
$15 million A300 airbus sim, I came to the conclusion that the platforms I
would like my work to run on, just dont exist at my end of the buying
spectrum at the moment, this is changing, but I use a lot of conventional
old Stereo-scopic technology (of my own construction) in order to view the
spaces I construct at the resolution I wish them to exist at. Of course it
limits one to a static point of view in terms of space and time, but within
these limits it is a very handy tool for bringing complex images out of the
"soft-world " and into the real. Using a small plastic stereoscope I can
show my work-in-progress to friends and gallery dealers etc, without having
the need for a computer. How do others deal with these probs?

See you in the Soup, regards Martin.
