There is already a system out that will allow you to play the part
of anyone within Hamlet, and interact with the images of the other
"actors". Whilst it is not VR, (i.e, no HMD and gloves), it is very
close to what is being proposed here.

I can't recall what the system is called or who is developing it, but
I could find out if anyone in the U.K. wants to follow up on it?

That would be a very valuable service to this list, if you would care
to undertake it. I'm not in the UK so I can't follow up.
