VIRTUAL HUMAN BODY is a 24-hour live Performance Art event
created
and performed exclusively on the Internet. VIRTUAL HUMAN BODY
encourages your participation in a global, personal telecommunications
performance event:

* FACILITATE efficient human-computer interaction

* ELIMINATE the distractions of body processes

* INCREASE the productivity of your human body


WATCH and HEAR continuous on-line human presence in a global
personal multicast

INTERACT with the performance in a dialog about human
body/technology issues:


-How completely can the network supersede the limitations of our
physical bodies and space?

-How does technology effect your sense of self and/or presence as an
individual in a networked reality?

-How is technology imposed on our physical bodies?

DIRECTIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS:

I will interact and respond to participants via
the TALK window plug-in for CU-SeeMe. The TALK plug-in can
be found, for the MACINTOSH platform in the same directory as
the CU-SeeMe application. Put the TALK plug-in module in
the same directory as CU-SeeMe and it will be automatically
recognized by the CU-SeeMe program.

I will also accept and respond to EMAIL. Send to void@picard.cs.wisc.edu

I will have a FORMS window on the performance homepage that
will allow users to post messages and download transcripts of the
