Bingo. A stereoscopic display would kill any normal '3D' illusions
instantly. And I'm not even sure it's -possible- to make new optical
illusions in 3d-space, as pretty much every optical illusion I know of
depends entirely on the way people translate two dimensional images..
Excepting some pretty boring ones :)
