Whispers of a Long Winter's Ebbing

Poem by Lloyd Michael Lohr

Two thousand years of stumbling along in the relentless darkness,

My ancestors mock me with their silence,

And yet I hear whispers from Atlantis calling "man was once

nothing but a whimsical dream of the dolphin",

in seasons long ago passing.*
