an IP violation, but it does seem to me that there is a big difference
between a search engine that might happen to find the offending pages and
links placed in one page expressly for the purpose of pointing others
specifically to the offending pages. If the offending pages are assumed,
for the sake of argument, to constitute a violation of someone's IP
rights, then building in anchors linking to them would seem to me to be a
more active participation in the IP violation than merely making available
an indiscriminate search engine that might stumble over the offending
pages.
