WHAT IS TeleChess
TeleChess is a Chinese Chess game, to be played by two people over a
TCP/IP network, possibly the Internet, or any LAN capable of running
TCP/IP. TeleChess is NOT a chess game played by a computer.

HOW TO PLAY A CHINESE GAME
Excuse me for not being able to provide a set of rules for playing
Chinese game. If you would like to join us enjoying the art of Chinese
Chess, please look for a Chinese Chess set in any department store where
instructions are usually included.

HOW TO SETUP TeleChess and START GAME
1. Setup Winsock 1.1 correctly. I will leave all the setup
   details of Winsock to individual implementations.

2. Create a file name tchess.ini under Windows system directory
   with the following section and attributes:

   [tchess]
   myname=<your name> ; put your name within 10 characters
   port=<port number> ; both players must agree on a port, default is 8000
   friend1=<IP address>:<name>
   friend2=<IP address>:<name>
   ...
   friend20=<IP address>:<name>

   You can put as many as 20 friend's name and IP addresses.

3. The game initiator choose the Play->Initiate option, and
   the opposite player choose the Play->Wait option.
   Game then starts and you will see 'TeleChess with ...' at
   the window title.

4.  Use Play->Reset to restart a game;
    Use Play->Switch to give up your turn; and
    Use Play->Quit to quit a game.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hi, my name is Patrick KO, and probably like you, I am an
Internet wanderer. I try to generate lots of garbage everyday
as well as read them. This game is another example.

I like writing programs as well as cooking for my wife. I have
no children but three adopted cuties: Snowy, Sugar and Cookie.
