REAME - brief intro to the Blue Ribbon
Campaign
Each icon is a clickable link to itself. Click-and-hold in netscape & pick
save to download, or click and release to download a copy (e.g. to load to disk).
You can get a tar-archived, gzip-compressed, or
ZIP-compressed copy of the whole collection.
New (Feb. 21): Blue ribbon "virtual reality icon" (VRML .wrl format).
To inline in Netscape 2.0 page, use HTML commands like so:
<embed src="blueribbon.wrl" width=128 height=128 border=0 align=middle>
NOTE: Requires Netscape's Live3D Plug-In for in-line viewing, or any VRML
browser helper-app for download-and-play viewing.
New (Feb. 22): Blue Ribbon GIF file, uuencoded,
for inclusion in signature files. Netscape and other browsers capable of
processing uuencoded GIFs in email/news signatures will be able to
download and extract the image. NOTE: Netiquette prefers short sig
files, so it may not be a good idea to use this one indefinitely. But
it'll be an eye-catcher for a while.
NOTE: You do NOT need to ask for permission to use these graphics.
They are public domain, created either by EFF, or by people who have
voluntarily donated new icons to the collection.

NOTE: For more info on "24 Hours of Democracy" protest (deadline Feb. 22!),
see http://www.hotwired.com/staff/userland/24/

NOTE: This only works in Netscape, so please don't use it except on pages
specifically made for Netscape, and with a non-Netscape alternative page
available. Does not look right in any other browser.
