These documentation files can be printed via the PRINTDOC.BAT batch command file by issuing the command PRINTDOC ------------------------------------------------------------------------ There is normally no need to "install" the Professional Master Key utilities. If you are the adventurous type who never read manuals, just run PMK. Please be somewhat cautious when running programs like Zero Disk, Zero File, and Un Format. They could get you into trouble if you bypass the warnings and safeguards built into the programs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Notes for "semi-compatible" IBM PC clones: The Professional Master Key Utilities will run "out of the box" on 99.99% of all IBM compatible computers. If you suspect or know that your computer is an older not-very-IBM-compatible, try running the programs with the option /Slow ON specified. Doing this instructs the programs to display video output using more well-behaved BIOS routines. Refer to the documentation for instructions on making this the default setting through the INSTALL.EXE program. Basically, registration is $35 which entitles you to use the Professional Master Key Utiliteis past a reasonable evaluation period, you will also receive a current copy of PMK, a typeset 70-page manual, notice of updates with low-cost upgrade offers, and notice of any major bugs that may be found in the software. You will still be entitled to technical support by telephone or BBS (although we have yet to have a technical support call from a registered user!)
