Locations for: Version 3.0 software 3LOAD: Unit ID# first eight digits at location 0255 Service ID# at 0266 (A523) Monthly at 0162 Seed Keys at 2000 Example - 2000 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** 00 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** 00 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** 00 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** 00 Seven bytes of key then a 00 then seven more then 00 seven more then 00 last seven then 00. THEORY OF OPERATION: The text keys at 2000 are encrypted by the writer (trap 18) and stored at 6740 in U-20. The run chip in turn de-codes them by a reverse trap 18 and uses the encrypted keys from U-20 to produce the working key. This way there is no clear text keys in U-7, U-20, or U-30 to be read out or copied. This is the most advanced and secure system we have developed to date. It would take a lot of skull sweat and patience for anybody to figure it out and steal your ID# and keys. This is 3.0 software in the truest sense.
