The BRAINEX directory will be added to your path statement, and the environment variable: BRAINEX=C:\BRAINEX\BRAINEX.INI will be added by a SET command. The drive letter will be the actual one you specify. Once the setup is complete, you can delete the files from the work directory. Read NETWORK.DOC for information about networks and Brainex! TROUBLE? ======== * If for any reason your AUTOEXEC.BAT file did not get updated, you can manually add the SET and PATH modifications using an ASCII text editor. On line 2 of AUTOEXEC.BAT place: SET BRAINEX=C:\BRAINEX\BRAINEX.INI Next add the BRAINEX directory to your path statement. If you installed to C: you would add: C:\BRAINEX Example: PATH=C:\DOS;C:\BRAINEX Once you have edited AUTOEXEC.BAT, reboot the computer, then run BRAINSET from the Brainex directory.
