You suggest some excellent hypotheses that would be interesting to examine. It is important to consider what effect a grass roots movement can have on official church doctrine. What influence will members of the Promise Keepers have, if any, on a conservative, confessional church body which officially prohibits any worship activities with members of other denominations?
