We will be having a number of other positions coming up that have less to do with data management/analysis and more with intervention research. So, keep this in mind and please forward to those who might be interested in such a position. Although this position is being posted now, in all likelihood, we would not interview until January (when HRMO finishes grading the applications) and we would want to hire by the end of May--good timing for those finishing this spring. Our other announcements will be posted at the GS 11-13 (MA-PHD with 1 year experience) levels. Thanks, Brenda ---------- From: List Manager ID To: bfs3@cdc.gov Subject: Error Condition Re: FW: behavior scientist job opening at CDC (fwd) Date: Saturday, October 04, 1997 1:56PM Hello to all once more--- Because this opening did originally not get proper advertisement on the CDC web page, we have been able to extend the application closing date to October 7, 1997. If you have a colleague who was interested but did not hear about the position in time to apply, please tell them the new date. When I checked a moment ago, the amended announcement with the new closing date is posted on the CDC employment web page. Also, I strongly recommend that applicants follow up with the CDC personnel office after they submit their materials. This morning an applicant told me that the personnel office had no record of receiving her application. Fortunately, she had a return receipt from the post office and was able to quickly fax them a second copy. A word to the wise.....
