Our center typically does telephone interviewing using basically anyone we can find as interviewers. Some training is involved of course, but we are such a small operation that we have considerable trouble maintaining a staff of callers that we can depend on. For example, we have space for 12 callers at once, but we typically have only about 3/4 of the callers show up for any given night that they have committed to ahead of time. Does anyone else have this problem? If not, how do you find callers? Do you use students? Does anyone have any suggestions?
