The second hour of today's Talk of the Nation will look at the "college 
faculty system." From the description on NPR's web site 
(http://www.npr.ogr/programs/totn/rundowns/1997/May/totn.05.15.97) 
they'll be focusing on the use of "teaching assistants to fill in for 
professors busy with research and publishing." One of the panelists, 
Michelle Mueller, is a graduate instructor of sociology at Michigan.

Check with your local NPR affiliate for the TOTN air time in your area.
