To Liz and Danielle:

Thanks for the suggestions,  Berkeley and Santa Barbara don't
sound that bad especially when you have to deal with Cleveland's
winter weather.  I'm more interested in some of the postmodernist
writers and the theoretical works of Erving Goffman.  The problem
with most of the newer works is that they are impossible to
understand.  Reading some of the works of Habermas is about as
difficult as Parsons, and I wouldn't recommend that on my worst
enemy.
