Hi all,

I am new to the world of publishing sociological texts, and have a 
couple of research papers I would like to publish and place on the 
internet.  How do I copyright these before I upload them?  Also I am 
interested in placing a social history book in my local library, but 
would also like to copyright protect it before I put it 'out there'.  
Does anyone know anything about this?  I would appriciate some advice.
