I am going to be teaching an introductory sociology course in the fall and would rather not use the same old tired introductory text (although, if there were a good one I would). Does anyone out there have any suggestions for a course text(s) or other material? Perhaps any experiences, pitfalls to avoid, etc., would help me in my preparation for this course. Any help would be greatly appreciated -- and a move away from the topic of tracking might be refreshing. Thanks, Charles Levy -- http://wizard.ucr.edu/~clevy http://wizard.ucr.edu/praxis
