I happen to believe that many of the insights of the postmodern perspective are helpful in understanding our modern world, but there is no reason why it has to written in this manner. The purpose of scholarly dialog is to make your views clear to people. I do not judge what is good writing verses bad writing, the only criteria I use is whether or not it is comprehensible. There is no place for verbiage and nonsensical language in the sociological literature. Matt m.hoover@popmail.csuohio.edu
