The publication is the Alberta Report and though I have found a home page for it on the net, the index does not cover the period I require. I did manage to download a 1996 article which was just two pages in length. Cost - as always - is a vital consideration, and so far my best offer is the campus library's offer of attempting to obtain it through Firstsearch at an estimated cost of $NZ30 per article. If they are also only two pages long, the cost is ridiculous. Can anyone advise me of a more cost-effective method? There is no great urgency at present, so ordinary mail is a possibility if all else fails. There are three articles in all which I will list in hopes that someone may already have them and be in a position to forward them. I would also appreciate some information on the Alberta Report itself. From my observations on the Net it appears to lean towards the right (distinct "Christian Coalition" flavour at times) and is possibly a family affair, but I have no idea as to its credibility/reputation, or as to its contributors (the staff are listed, but the names mean nothing to me). The articles are: "More blows to parental control" Apr 17, 1995 "Seeking a balance on parental control" June 20, 1994 "Educating educrats on parental control" June 6, 1994 All suggestions gratefully received Maxine Campbell email: maxine@waikato.ac.nz Sociology Department Phone: 0064-7-8562889, ex 8274 University of Waikato Home: 0064-7-8547103 Hamilton Fax: 0064-7-8562158 New Zealand
