I never realized that perpetuating tasteless stereotypes about gays was actually "deconstruction". Perhaps ascii is incapable of rendering "subtle relationships among concepts"...but when one reiterates malicious generalizations about groups of people one must be explicit about the purpose of doing so. ------------ Could you possibly point out the stereotyping and maliciousness in Joe's original post? I didn't see it. I thought he was talking about people who overreact to innocuous observations, such as the notion that butt pats could be considered homoerotic.
