Hi.  I was hoping someone could suggest a few good books.  Specifically, I 
am looking for thorough introductory texts in theory and in methods.  Right 
now, I am considering George Ritzers' theory books and Earl Babbie's methods 
book. One of my professors has agreed to monitor some independent work by me 
this summer and he's asked that I provide a short book list.  Any and all 
suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
