Thanks for your posting re: this John. I also like Jean C.'s contribution.
If humor is outlawed in the midst of horrors, the horrors will triumph
that much more easily.  I especially liked Jeans mention of Jewish humor
in this context, as It resonates with my past. As to the left, or what's
left of us. Lets learn to be human beings as well as political beings already!
