	I would just like to say that I am all for the mini-lectyres by 
T.R. Young appearing on this list as often as possible.  If you don't 
want to read them, you can delete them with the touch of a button (at 
least I can).  I don't see how they can hurt, especially since it is my 
understanding that the purpose of lists like this one is to promote the free 
exchange of ideas with the hope of raising the quality of scientific
