I'm not a real fan of Bourdieu's, but I have done some reading on him. I
have a sense of what "symbolic violence" is from reading a particular
text, but I'm not sure whether it "lays out" his concept, as much as it
"illustrates its use", asserting that pedagogy is inherently an act of
symbolic violence.  Anyway, here's the reference:
