Can somebody give an example of a *major* social problem for which game theory provides a better explanation that any other theory. Beside naming the problem, can you tell us what the other theories are. For example, Keynesian economics (based, in part, on Marxist economics) provided a better explanation of the Great Depression than the one offerred by neoclassical economics. Steve Halebsky UW-Madison
