I'd be glad to join the discussion but not I am not sure what the questions are. Fear of Crime? Crime itself? Social factors (broadly construed) that affect the relationship between the two? What real problems? Racism, sexism, economic oppression? Flat economic prospects for the future? Brutal in a critical, Marxist, or feminist sense? There's one hell of a lot of issues packed into that last sentence. Jetaway Dave
