Than there is another group below that which trades people. Finally, there is the bottom tear which doesn't concern itself with graduates (PhD anyway). 2. -- I didn't realize the policy was so wide spread. If there is any one with a better perspective (faculty or admin) who might be able to provide a rationale for the policy it might help the discussion. Right now, all *I* am doing is guessing at the reasoning. 3. -- I guess if you really like a school, and you would want to teach there one day, don't go study there. The people will help you out, but only to find work else where I guess. SKEE
