I'm sure such a study is well underway somewhere out there in virtual reality. Just a moment ago, I checked my real-mail and a copy of a publication entitled Zen and the Art of Internet was sitting in my mailbox. It is copywritten by a person at Widner University (Pa.) named: Brendan Kehoe aka (BRENDAN@CS.WIDENER.EDU). I haven't read more than the "Table of Contents" yet but from what Kehoe has included in his book, I'm confident that it will be useful. It includes discussion of "netiquette," "group creation" "tone of voice" "computer religion" as well as a section describing additional data bases accessable via e-mail (like FEDIX-Minority Scholarship Information). I suppose BRENDAN@CS.WIDENER.EDU would welcome requests for info. on how one can get access to this document. It is 89 printed pages long so it's a bit much to access via e-mail. Thought some of you might be interested. Peace, Dennis (Icc_drl@shsu)
