While I'm bored with the likes of James Coleman I see no reason
why we have to "vote" about continuing a discussion. Silence on
a subject is clearly a vote. Talk about whatever is right.
Re Paulo Friere (sp?) another excellent book in critical
pedagogy is Henry Giroux's Theory and Resistance in Education.
In addition his book Teachers as Intellectuals is a intriguing
statemet on the potentialities we all posess as "teachers."
