True, but they are only symptoms of the underlying problem.  Admittedly, the
symptoms can not be ignored, and sometimes must be treated before attempting
to effect a cure; but until we concentrate on finding a cure, we are like the
physician who hopes to cure typhus by prescribing aspirin to eliminate the
discomfort.
