I found your discussion of race and control interesting and agree with
virtually all of your points.  Do you have any thoughts or views on
whether there is a, or the, Black experience as opposed to Black
experiences?  In my writings on race in the labor and employment law
context, I have noted the need to refer to Black communities and
perspectives as a way of debunking the myth of a monolithic Black
community, even though it is indisputably true that the experience of being
Black in America has a commonality that cannot be denied.
