I have to agree that this is rather rudely put, seeming to imply that Ed believes we should reduce human numbers using the same sorts of methods. If he does believe that, I'd like to hear how he proposes to choose those to be culled. However, I find it hard to believe that that was really his intent. Maybe he was just trying to say that we should recognize that it is just as important to make sure the "human herd" doesn't exceed the carrying capacity as to make sure that other animals don't, without trying to say anything about what methods of doing so might be appropriate. I would totally agree with that. Ted Toal
