As part of this course, we are required to conduct an ethical analysis of a case study in development. As we have an interest in population and family planning issues, we have decided to try to examine the operations of the Population and Development Association (PDA) in Thailand (founded by Mechai Viravaidya). So far we have not been able to find very much critical literature or other materials on the activities of PDA. We would like to request any possible information leads on PDA's work; on population policy in Thailand; and/or broad ethical issues relating to family planning. Kindly reply to the email address given below. Thank-you for your assistance in advance. Yours sincerely, Sumeet Jain International Development Studies, University of Toronto at Scarborough 20 Carlton St. Apt. 831 Toronto, Ontario Canada M5B 2H5 tel: (416) 599-4621 fax: (519) 649-7762 email: 92jainsu@wave.scar.utoronto.ca
