Look up the series "Medicine at the Crossroads" that was shown on PBS
several years ago.  Each hour-long segment addresses a different
sociological aspect of health and illness.  There is a segment on
behavioral aspects of AIDS, one on the limits of the biomedical
model of illness, etc.
