SENIOR FACULTY POSITION

Kent State University has extended its search for a senior-level
position, at the rank of advanced Associate or Full Professor. We seek a
candidate with an outstanding record of publications and a consistent
record in funded research. This position is intended for a colleague
whose research interests and grant experience would provide leadership
and focus to the department's program in medical sociology. In addition
to medical sociology, our joint doctoral program with the University of
Akron has specialties in social psychology, social organization, family,
and policy and program evaluation. The department has excellent
facilities with ample research space. The University supports both
research and teaching development leaves. Pending approval, appointment 
will begin August 1998.
