Get in on the 8th annual book raffle of the Medical Sociology section now. I have received a number of outstanding books from publishers. You won't have a chance of winning some of these if you don't purchase a ticket. They are $2 a ticket or 3 tickets for $5. Funds from the raffle go to support the Leo G. Reeder Award for distinguished contribution to medical sociology and the Best Dissertation Award. A check of, say, $10 (for 6 tickets) from each member of the section would provide great support for these two awards.
