Sometime ago, free student memberships in the Medical Sociology section were 
offered to the first 50 students who applied for them. To date, I have 
received requests from 18 students, (three of which were rejected by the ASA 
because they were not ASA members).

Thus 35 student memberships in our section are still available to students 
(who belong to the ASA). Please spread the word, and  have eligible students 
provide me with their name,  address, and university affiliation.
