For the most part, however, we are specialists in clinical, not social sciences, and so we are seeking your advice and any current research you might direct us to on one or more of the following questions: Who gets in to medical school? What are the attitudes and career plans/decisions of graduates, has this changed in recent years? And if so, how? What is the impact of different levels of tuition fees on the socio-economic profile of medical school students? What is the impact of different debt load levels on the attitudes of graduating physicians in terms of their sense of entitlement, their feelings about what level of income they should achieve, and their sense of dedication and commitment to the public? I look forward to your early reply and would be pleased to share the final product when it is completed.
