Send mail to ftpmail@decwrl.dec.com with the message body consisting of: HELP QUIT This will give you a lengthy help file on using the server. I use it on a regular basis. It is quite slow, but requests usually get processed within two or three days. I believe another such server is ftpmail@sunsite.unc.edu. There's a more complete listing of ftpmail servers in Scott Yanoff's Internet Services listing, available on Overture's file server. You can get it by sending mail to file-server@overture.pha.pa.us with a message of: GET /public/text/internet/inetsvcs.txt QUIT You can do many things by email that were once reserved for people with interactive Internet service.
