In 1905, Colorado became the first state to proclaim Columbus Day a holiday. That it why it is appropriate, on the 500th anniversary of the invasion by Columbus, to stop the holiday in Colorado. For the past three years Colorado AIM has warned the city of Denver and the state of Colorado about continuing their racist, anti-indian parades and monuments to Columbus. This year, parade organizers have promised a "massive" parade in celebration of Indian genocide. We will be at the parade to blow out the candles on Columbus' anniversary cake. We hope to see you there, too. Camping sites available beginning Oct.8/ Ceremonies Oct.9 This is a very serious demonstration. Absolutely no drugs, alcohol or partying of any kind.
