Framed: The Story of Geronimo Pratt (Dennis Mueller and Masimo Pillow, 1993) Short film that does a great job showing FBI repression of the Black Panther Party and Pratt's frame-up in the particular case of the California Panthers. Unfortunately, it doesn't give enough information on the true political potential of the BPP, instead focusing on their struggles over the right to bear arms. That misleads viewers into thinking the U.$. saw the BPP principally as a military threat, which is not true. The government cared so much about the BPP because of their power and dedication to organize the Black community, and especially the Survival Programs, which were used to educate the people as well as supply their immediate needs.
