What is UE - University of Electrons.

UE is being designed similarly like the GLU concept of LGBTetc
education but via the electronic networks.

Q. Who can teach?
A. People just like us.  People with information that would like
to share.  We are creative people use that creativity. 

Q. Who can learn?
A. Anyone.  Just imagine.

Q. What means do the classes use to teach?  Like I am 3,000 miles 
away from GLU/Seattle.
A. By any means possible.
	Email
	IRC  this would be a fun way
	Talk 
	Write
	Conferences
	Telnet
	FTP
	You name it!
	Snail mail anyone?

Q. What could be be taught?
A. Be creative.
	Internet
	IRC 
	UNIX
	Computers
	Languages
	Organizing
	LGBTetc history
	on and on and on and on 
	You name it!  It is up to your creativity.
	Organize a trip to India anyone?
	How about learning to camp in the Northwest?
	The world is at our fingetips seize it.

Q. So when is this UofE thing going to fly?
A. It sort of already is with the GLU course "Creating & 
Maintaining GLUs."  More will be coming.  Watch for it!


Q. How would I list a class offering.
A. A catalog of class offerings would be posted in this GLU ftp
site each month.  You would simple email your class information
to GLU and it would be posted in the UofE catalog.  

Q. How would prospective students contact the instructor.
A. Students would contact the instructor directly via email or
whatever means was appropriate.

Q. What about costs?
A. A class listing is only a $24 for one  year of listing in
the UofE catalog here on the GLU ftp site. 

Q. What would a instructor be able to charge?
A. The cost of the course is left up to the instructor. This isn't
any business of GLU or UofE. Of course it would be nice to 
list the cost if there is any.

Q. Could classes, workshops, seminars, etc etc be listed and then actually take place in some part of the world.
A.  YES!  UofE encourages people to use this place to list 
offerings in this catalog that will take place via this 
electronic means but also in "real life."  I think a scuba class
in Florida would really work out much better in the water there.




What do "they" say?  "Free the mind and the rest will follow?"
