                     WHAT CAN BE TAUGHT?

What
GLU/Seattle is into the concept of diversity to the extreme.

Who would buy a bald tire.  How many 2 legged tripods stand on
their own.  Most any of the great cross sections of the LGBTetc
communities are encouraged to get involved.

GLU will allow anything that is:
	1.) Legal
	2.) not involved in one of the "isms"
		racism
		sexism
		ageism
		You name it.

This is a touchy area.  To make calls on what is acceptable and
what is not. Hmmmmmmm  This is a biggie.

GLU has had to inform people that the wording of their class was
not acceptable.  It is a difficult situation to deal with. To 
suggest that possibly that it could be worded in another manner.

The legal angle is also a very tough one.  Government and the 
hate people are always on the outlook to screw people over.  For
instance there are laws in the State of Washington regarding
message.  I am not a lawyer and can not tell a person that I 
could legally run an ad about teaching message. Sounds nuts, but
it is as simple as that. 

GLU/Seattle is not rich and can not afford to get a legal 
briefing on everything it does. I am sure that GLUs anywhere
will confronted with similar situations.

Who
Anyone!!!   There is no litmus test of sexual orientation. In
fact GLU/Seattle has at least two straights teaching so far.
